North Walsham has a great history from fire to revolt, smugglers and murder. Come and experience our ghost walks around the town centre to find out more about the town’s spooky past. Each walk lasts about an hour.
We also have a special children’s ‘Weird Walsham’ Trail. The children’s Trail lasts 45 minutes. (No unaccompanied children).
2020 dates yet to be released.
Private group walks can also be booked direct with us. Please use our contact page.
Sign up to New Stages mailing list here to be keep up-to-date.
We also have a Facebook page you could join to keep up with the news!
The ghost walks last around an hour and there is no seating on the way round. We’ll be dipping in and out of alleyways too. If you have access or mobility needs, please let us know in advance and we will do what we can.
We run public ghost walks but can also organise private bookings for groups and functions etc. You can get in touch with Joseph using our contact page.
Walks are collated and presented by Joseph Ballard, who is also director of New Stages who present theatre, classes and events in the local area. Joseph grew up in North Walsham and has, since a young age, been collecting stories of the paranormal, the town’s history and quirkiness.
Funds raised from the ghost walks help support the community projects and groups of New Stages.
